The Very Reverend Corinna Olsen

The Very Reverend Corinna “Cori” Olson, Rector

Rev. Cori has been the rector of St. Andrew’s since May 10, 2020. Though she spent 13 years shepherding a church in Kendall, a suburb of Miami, she has a long history in Palm Beach County. Her family moved to Boynton Beach in 1973 and she graduated from Atlantic High School in 1976. Later she studied at Palm Beach Junior College, now Palm Beach College, and Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton. After working in retail for several years, she joined the finance department of Office Depot. In 2001, Rev. Cori moved to New York, New York to study at The General Theological Seminary where she earned her Masters of Divinity (MDiv) in 2004.

Rev. Cori came to St. Andrew’s because she wanted to be a part of a congregation that loved God and their neighbor, honored their history and traditions, embraced the arts, and fought for justice! She has kept our relationship going with the Lake Worth Interfaith Network (LWIN) and is especially delighted with their 28-Days of Anti-Racism each February. She is on the Executive Board of People Engaged in Active Community Efforts (PEACE) where we work with others for justice.

Elected as Dean of the South Palm Beach Deanery, she serves on the Executive Board of the Diocese of Southeast Florida. She also serves on the Missions Board, and works to eliminate racism working to create The Beloved Community.

She loves the arts programs here and can usually be found at the door greeting folks as they come to concert events. As she says, you are welcome! We are so glad you came!
