Ministries at St. Andrew's

The Way Café

The Way Café is one of the St. Andrew’s most cherished ministries. Every first and third Tuesday of the month, we warmly welcome the hungry and homeless from the community to enjoy a hot, fresh-cooked meal in Frazell Parish Hall. Volunteers cook and serve the meals and assist with set up and clean up. If you have questions regarding this ministry, or if you’d like to volunteer, please call (561) 582-6609 or email office@standrewslwb.org.

Care Committee

The Care Committee prays for the needs of individuals and families undergoing medical and family trials, or that have special needs. This devoted group can be counted on to provide warm greetings that encourage parishioners. They also check in on this sick or ailing, send thoughtful cards, make occasional phone calls, and can even help arrange for meal delivery or other support when necessary and appropriate. If you would like to support this ministry, please call the church at 561-582-6609 or email office@standrewslwb.org.

Ministries at St. Andrew's
Daughters of the King

Daughters of the King

The Order of the Daughters of the King is for women who are communicants of the Episcopal Church. Members commit to live a life of Prayer and Service to our Church and the spread of God’s Kingdom.

The Mary & Martha Chapter was established at St. Andrew’s on August 29, 2021. If you are interested in becoming a Daughter of the King, please call (561) 582-6609 or email office@standrewslwb.org. You may also speak with the President, Linda Sullivan, or any of the members of the Chapter.

This is the Motto of the Order that the Daughters strive to live by…

For His Sake… I am but one, but I am one.
I cannot do everything, but I can do something.
What I can do, I ought to do.
What I ought to do, by the grace of God I will do..
Lord, what will you have me do?

Integrity Palm Beach

Integrity Palm Beach is a fellowship and service organization that promotes the inclusion of persons of all sexual orientations in the life of the church. Integrity sponsors worship services, educational programs, social events and outreach activities.

St. Andrew’s is an inclusive parish, open to all. One does not need to be Episcopalian to participate in Integrity. An active chapter, Integrity Palm Beach meetings usually include 30-50 attendees, with people of all backgrounds and sexual orientations. The chapter believes that outreach and socializing are the best ways to advocate effectively for the LGBTQ community near and far.

In addition to monthly meetings, Integrity-Palm Beach is committed to moving the Episcopal Church and others forward in its goal of making the church more open and affirming of LGBT people, and ensuring that all of the sacraments are available to all the baptized. The group is involved in community service, and has donated time and talent to the Human Rights Campaign of Palm Beach County, The Farmworker Coordinating Council, Adopt-a-Family of the Palm Beaches, the Martin Luther King, Jr. Scholarship Fund, and the Angel Tree Project.

A note about non-endorsement:

Integrity Palm Beach and its host parish, St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church, are non-profit groups grounded in this community. Integrity Palm Beach believes that giving local political leaders a forum benefits us all. That said, neither Integrity nor the church endorse political office-seekers or political parties. The appearance of a political office holder at an Integrity meeting should not be construed as an endorsement.
